Are there any rules for international transportation that are acceptable to all participants in the process?
Yes, all stages of the transportation process can be assessed or divided according to the terms of INCOTERMS 2020 (Incoterms International Trade Terms). The consignor or consignee, as well as the carrier, can understand the limits of their responsibility and activities.
Is cargo insurance always included in the price of the transportation service?
The cargo is always automatically prohibited, in accordance with the issued bill of lading (CMR, SMGS, Bill of Lading, Airwaybill), but the amount of the compensated amount in each case depends on the obligations assumed by the specific carrier/the established compensation procedure. Our company recommends additional consultation in each case regarding the need to take out separate insurance.
